Chef’s Summer Multi-Course Wine-Paired Dinners

We are collaborating again with local Chef Georges Labaki, active duty Navy and recent winner of Chopped, to bring you an incredible menu complete with wine pairings. We are offering two seatings: Friday, June 23rd & Saturday, June 24th, both beginning at 7 PM.
Tickets are $110 for Wine Club Members (limit 2 per membership), and $130 for non-Members.

And meet our local guest Chef, Georges N. Labaki. We can’t wait to work with him again!

Chef Georges N. Labaki of Annapolis, MD is a true master of the culinary arts. With a background that blends Lebanese, Filipino, and American cultures, Chef Labaki has honed his skills across a wide range of cuisines and culinary traditions. He has served in a number of esteemed positions, including sous chef at the Secretary of the Navy Dining Facility, as well as cooking for the White House, Australian and British Embassies. He has performed at highly-regarded restaurants such as Oyamel, Zaytinya, Main Event Caterers, and Design Cuisine. Chef Labaki also served as the house manager for the 31st Chief of Naval Operations and currently serves as the Enlisted Aide to the Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy. In 2023, Chef Labaki was named champion on the competitive cooking show Chopped.

Join us for our “Mystery May” wine events this month, and experience how fun (and educational) blind wine tastings can be! There will be no pretense at these events, and it doesn’t matter if you guess wines “right” or “wrong”; all emphasis will be placed on expanding our palates, trying something new, and maybe just maybe finding your new favorite.

The schedule is:
-May 10th & May 12th, 6-8 PM: blind white wine tastings

We are partnering with The Wine Collective (Baltimore, MD) and Casa Carmen (Chestertown, MD) to sip on and learn all about vermouth! Vermouth, also made from grapes, is an aromatized fortified wine often served as an apértif or as an ingredient in mixed drinks. Take it from us: these producers are incredible, the bottles we will be trying are crazy good, and you definitely wont want to miss this. Event is from 6-8 PM.

Casa Carmen opened their doors in 2017 on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and is a total family affair. These events will include details on the differences in growing regions and production techniques for the various pinot noir wines poured, allowing you to compare them to one another side-by-side and find your new favorite!
